Campaigns

Secure more police locally

Working with the police and the police and crime commissioner to make sure we see our fair share of local policing in Wirral West.

Road traffic calming measures

It's important that everyone feels safe on our roads, whether you're a motorist, cyclist or pedestrian. Sadly some people endanger others by speeding or driving dangerously.

Road Improvements campaign

We've been out and about talking to residents in Upton, Arrowe Park and the Woodchurch . What we have found out is many residents feel they've been overlooked. Issues that pop up time and time again are potholes, grass verges, lack of dropped kerbs, poor parking.

Fix My Road

It was announced in November last year that Wirral Council will be receiving an extra £1.4 million from the Government to tackle potholes. Motorists across Wirral will be hoping that this cash is spent wisely on improving roads in the area.

83A Bus Petition

Following the collapse of Avon Buses, the vital 83A service has been withdrawn. This service formed a vital link for people living in West Kirby, Hoylake and Meols who needed to get to school, work or hospital.

Campaign for better Making stations Accessible

Upton Railway Station is currently falling short on accessibility.  Currently there is no step free access at the station, making it difficult for wheelchair users to use the station. This limits people's ability to make the most of work, education and leisure opportunities.

Protecting Wirral's Green Belt

Wirral's precious Green Belt is under threat from development. A lack of a proper local plan from the Labour controlled council has sadly left many of our much loved green spaces open to unwanted building, against the wishes of local people.
